Racketball Branches into new areas... The Police

The recent annual Squash fixture between the British Police and Edgbaston Priory Club happened on the weekend of October 9th. For the second year running Racketball managed to get on the agenda in an official capacity with the 1st string vets match between Peter Upton (Police) and Rob Shay (Priory) being a Racketball fixture. Shay winning 3-1. The first official Police Racketball fixture being the previous year when former Mens National Racketball over 35 finalist Matt Pugh (Police) beat Rob Alger (Priory) 3-2 in a scheduled mens 5th string match. Great efforts are being made to push Racketball within the Police and hopefully the day is not too far away when there will be a full Police Racketball Championships and Racketball team fixtures.
