O3 rackets are created through a one step fusion process that utilises the strongest structure known to man, the Arch, creating the frames O-ports. These O-ports strengthen and stabilise the frame for increased control while reducing torque and arm injuries typically caused by rackets that are too light.

The evolution of Power Ring continues with Power Ring 8. By developing a throat area with 8 Power Rings, each maing string wrapd around its own independant Power Ring. This allows maximum string resiliency, ultimate shot control and re-stringing is a breeze!

UK-Racketball Ektelon O3 Black Racket Review

The 03 Black is the top racketball racket in the latest range produced by Ektelon. Eketlon are seen as one of the leading racketball racket make’s in America and are renowned for making high quality rackets. As the O3 Black right at the top of the Ektelon range it is one of the highest quality rackets on the market.

The 03 Black has one of the largest heads of any racket from any make. I found the frame to be very firm, consistently giving me a great deal of power on all my shots. The frames combination of weight and power make the 03 black possibly the best racket on the market for the volley and volley drop which I could play with complete ease.

The only downside to the racket is the same as with the O3 Red where I found playing touch shots proved difficult. Although I could still play firm drops and boasts all with a high a level of control when going in to the front. You are still able to go short consistently but any player who likes to float in a drop will struggle with this racket.

The Ektelon O3 Black looks great, its colour scheme is almost all black with tints of red and silver. The grip on the O3 Black is a square shape which is the same as the entire Ektelon range.

The O3 Black also comes with a higher quality string than the Ektelon base factory rating but it was difficult to tell how good it actually was.

It may be a cliché to say that you get what you pay for but this is certainly the case with the O3 Black, it is a brilliant racket.
