After a phenomenally successful first event in 2025 with a lot of laughs and some great matches too, we return once again to the West Hants and Bournemouth Squash Clubs at the end of October for another fun filled weekend of Racketball action.

CATEGORIES - A Grade / B Grade / C Grade - 4 players per side
Over 60s - 4 players per side
Ladies - 3 players per side
ENTRY COST - £45 per player. This also covers a top Saturday night all teams two course dinner at the West Hants Club

KEY INFO:
- Grading will be done using the Squash57 Levels system - app.squash57levels.com/dashboard
A Grade roughly 5K/6K rating upwards
B Grade roughly 3K to 5K/6K rating
C Grade roughly 0 - 3K rating
- Your side's overall Grading will be determined based on your player's average total Squash57 Level
- All teams will be guaranteed at least 3 matches across the weekend. All matches will be played to three games (so you win either 3/0 or 2/1) and results will be calculated on the always entertaining EVERY POINT COUNTS FORMAT. So it doesn't matter whether you win your match, it's the total points accumulated by all of your players in the fixture vs your opposition's total points that determines the overall outcome!
- There will be matches on Friday afternoon, potentially from a 2pm start though we will make that decision closer to time when we have recieved final entries. We will aim to make it as easy as possible for travelling playes on the Friday afternoon / evening. There will be a Friday night Happy Hour at the West Hants club as your reward! Matches should also be done with all finals wrapped up by Sunday lunchtime.
- Stragglers and Lonely Souls! We are more than happy to help matchmake you into sides in any of the categories if you are keen to play but don't necessarily have a team to slot in to. Please email Mike to say if so!

HAPPY HOUR, SATURDAY NIGHT FOOD & ENTERTAINMENT AND MORE!
Alongside the Racketball action we also have plenty of post match entertainment at the West Hants Club for everyone!
- Friday 24th we have a free live music night with a great band called the ''Sun Stroke Band'' they will play loads of great covers and classics everyone will know.
We have attached the current Bar menu, the club chef will select some (approx. 6) of the MAIN MENU to be available on the night, you will be able to order that at the bar with your table number. Alternatively, you could book a table in the West Hants Club Restaurant, and a dessert will be available too. On Friday, we also have a welcome Happy Hour from 6-8pm, with 30% off all alcoholic drinks.
- Saturday 25th we have the sit-down meal after all the matches are done. Approx 7.30pm at the West Hants Club. Menu also attached. There will be a singer and some music this night too. Food orders for this will be taken on the Saturday, Team Captains will be asked.
The Club Closes at 11pm Friday & Saturday.

Bournemouth Squash Club, Chapel Gate, East Parley, Bournemouth, BH23 6BL
Team & Event Format and Rules:
Teams must be comprised of 4 players. All players compete each match, all playing a new and dynamic tournament format:
- All matches are 3 games only. Regardless of whether you are 2/0 up, you still play the 3rd game.
- Every single point accumulated by you in your match goes toward your team's overall score for the fixture. Sudden Death at 10/10, every point counts!
- The team that ends up with the most points after the 4 matches have been played wins the tie.
We will be using the Karakal Black Racketball for all matches.
All teams will be guaranteed 3 matches across the duration of the event, win or lose. First matches will start Saturday morning and we will be aiming to be done by mid afternoon Sunday at latest. Final timings will depend on amount of entries and will be communicated out as early as possible.
- In the age group categories, Women's O40 or O45 players can play in the O50s, Women's O50 or O55 players can play in the O60s.
- Players can only play in one draw over the weekend. For example someone cannot play in the O60s and O50s categories (even if they qualify on the age front.) This makes the scheduling much more manageable.
Entry Cost:
£35 per player, therefore £140 per team. Teams are welcome to bring reserve players but they must still pay the extra £35 cost in order to help cover the relevant event and entertainment costs.
Details of how to pay and sort your Saturday evening meal choices will be sent out closer to time. Please register your side with Mike Harris as soon as you are able to do so however to avoid missing out.

In the case of the A Grade & B Grade draws, the final decision as to which teams fit into which event will be made by the seeding committee of Mike Harris, Nick Jenkins and Alexis Smith based on knowledge and results from the UK Racketball Series, previous National Championships, and also if required, Squash Levels ratings. Any other team or player requests around eligibility will also be discussed by this committee before a decision is made.
If you are keen to play but don't necessarily have a side to slot into, or are a team looking for another player, please contact Mike as he will be able to help matchmake if necessary.
There will also be courts booked out at West Hants on the Friday 24th October evening for any sides travelling down that night, with a happy hour at the bar for all players from 6pm-8pm! Just to get you well hydrated for the tough weekend ahead of course...
