That's why the last thing we wanted to be was another faceless internet site, so here is our story.
Back in 2009 Mark Fuller, a budding your professional squash player and Will Bennett, formerly Sheffield Uni Squash No. 1 stumbled across racketball at their local club The Hallamshire Squash and Racketball Club.
They quickly realised that the sport deserved more .There were no official rankings, no UK series or even a dedicated website for the latest news and how to play. With nothing but ENERGY, DRIVE and PASSION they set out to create what the sport was crying out for. They launched the first ever UK Racketball Series, Website and National Rankings!
Over the years they have continued to put everything they have into the sports of Squash and Racketball with a simple mission:
TO GET MORE PEOPLE PLAYING, ENJOYING AND SUPPORTING RACKETBALL.
Now down the line to this current period, the Series has hit over 100 events and covers all parts of England, with the addition of the Scottish Open in Glasgow too! We have a fantastically loyal and fun player base across the age groups and categories and each tournament is a reuniting of friends and reigniting of rivalries.
In October 2022 Mark hired another ex PSA Pro (and regular sparring partner) Mike Harris to come in as admin support for event promotion, event running, and the general day to day nitty gritty work involved in keeping such a popular set up rolling.
Mike (a several time National Racketball Champion) shared Mark's vision for the Series and community and was keen to get involved and keep the progress moving forward! He has now taken over UK Racketball fully while Mark has moved across to the US to persue different avenues.
As such we hope you join us in playing, enjoying and supporting racketball!
