This is a question that we get asked frequently before, during and after our events! We thought it would be prudent to give you a rough breakdown of what we think events would be appropriate for players to enter based on their playing experience and ability.

Open/A Grade: This event attracts some of the best Racketball players in the country, with National Champions and regular top end Series finishers turning up to do battle and settle scores. Recommended playing level is County team or top Club player. General entry age range from 18 years - 50 years old.
B Grade: This event is for players who are keen to play in regular events, but find themselves in the middle orders of club sides or outside of county selection. This has grown and grown in recent years to regularly having draws of 10+ players per Series event and 32 + draws in the British Open Championships! General entry age range from 16 years - 55 years old.
Ladies Open: This event attracts some of the best Racketball players in the country, with National Champions and regular top end Series finishers turning up to do battle and settle scores. Recommended playing level is County team or top Club player. General entry age range from 18 years - 50 years old.
Ladies B Grade / Non County: This is our newest event and is aimed at Ladies players who are keen to perhaps play some different opponents or try out a different competitive setting, but who aren't at the level or experience that the Open/A Grade category would suit. While this is still a tournament draw, the aim is to make it as accessible and social as possible, so while there will be a winner at the end of the day, everyone comes out of it having got an enjoyable run of matches! General entry age range from 16 years - 60 years old.
Age Group Categories (Over 40s, 50's, 60's, 70's): Pretty simple these ones really! You are only allowed to enter into the age group that you qualify for on the day of the tournament. You are however more than welcome to play ''down'' an age group (for example a 50 year old playing the Over 40s or B Grade or A Grade.)
Doubles: This has been a really popular entry into the Series and regularly gets to 10+ pairings per event! It is useful to have played Racketball Doubles prior to competing in our Series events at it as it is a bit of a hectic format, but is a lot of fun and well worth a go! It is open to players of all ages and abilities.
Please note that for all our One Day Series events, players are only allowed to enter ONE Singles category plus the Doubles. (Or just one or the other.) If players play in two different singles categories it makes it very difficult to schedule and run the tournaments!
