diagram from patrick osborn - squash57/racketball for the world squash federation
This diagram is a great visual tool for bringing together a number of different ideas. On the left hand side you see the Club Goals, the reason why it is great to have a thriving Racketball in your club. In the middle is the Players Goals, why people enjoy the sport so much and the advantages to the individual. On the far side is listed the methods, the how. This section of the site looks at how you can attract the individual and grow your club membership.

U3A - University of the third age
The University of the Third Age cropped up again and again while interviewing leading Racketball club coaches. This project has grown amazingly over the past few years with successful groups now in existence right across the country. With Racketball's target demographic fitting this group perfectly have a look in your local area to see if any groups exist and if they would be interested in adding Racketball to there existing list of activities. https://www.u3a.org.uk/
open days and club promotions
Open days and club promotions can be a great way to find new members and bring in new players to your sessions. The key with these is to properly plan what you are doing. Look at the objectives and put together realistic goals and costs. It is worth noting that you might need to spend money to see the best results, this might be in the form of advertising or in free equipment or session time. Many industries do this so in order to compete you will need to do the same, some ideas are listed below.
Remember that the integration of new members and the quality of your product is vital if you want to see long term growth. If either of these things are not good then no matter how good your marketing is your session will not grow. Try to make sure that you have thought through how you will integrate a new player into your club and groups.
Leicester Junior Squash Promotions
For three years I worked with Leicester Squash Club helping them to grow the junior program. We tried a number of different strategies to build the numbers and eventually settled on the two ideas below as the most effective.
Buddy Bags - if you bring a friend to squash then you receive a free buddy bag. These contained grips, balls, wristbands and a Leicester Squash Club water bottle. The bags themselves were branded up with the Leicester Squash Club Junior Academy logo.
First Session is Free and Free Racket after Five Sessions - the first session that you attend is free making the barrier to entry for the first session very low. If you attend five sessions then you receive a free racket. We felt that this would mean that players committed for a longer period of time to the program. Hopefully as well once they have their racket they're very much more likely to come back the next week!
