Introduction
The Wycombe Racketball Open is the eighth and final event of the 2014 UK-Racketball Series.
2012's event was the first time that the Series had gone to Wycombe and the tournament was a great success. All grades were very well contested with a big entry into all sections but the B grade final was the pick of the day’s matches. The B grade title hinged on a show down between local player Ed Walker and Oliver Adams. Despite a great entry into all grades the host club was yet to find a winner and all hopes rested with Walker, despite Adams hitting a great ball and moving Walker all round the court the local man was not to be denied and managed to just cling on and finally claim a title for his club.
Last year the event attracted a high standard with several top class players. As with last year this is the final event of the year for UK Racketball so a large entry is anticipated ahead of the Christmas break.
So do not delay, as this will be your last chance to play in a UK-Racketball event in 2014.

Grades
It is important to remember that UK-Racketball Series events are designed to be inclusive. Although the A grade does attract the best racketball players in the country the events really are for players of all ages and abilities. We have never had a competitor who felt they were not good enough for an event when they took part.
