uk-racketball series information
Over the course of the season all players will earn ranking points which count towards the National Rankings and the UK-Racketball Series Rankings. The National Singles Rankings are calculated by taking an average of the points that are earn't over a 12 month rolling period. The UK-Racketball Series Rankings are calculated on cumulative year-to-date basis, resetting at the start of each year.
See below for information on how to earn points and the prizes on offer at the end of the year. The end of year prize presentation will take place at the end of the National Racketball Championship Doubles taking place in Nottingham in December.
Points at National Championships and UK-Racketball Series Events
Points for the National Championships are weighted to make them crucial to the overall Series ranking.
All grades/ categories compete in the same UK-Racketball Series ranking list. Points are equal, you do not earn more points for the over 40's than the over 50's...
The National Racketball Doubles counts as a National Championship.

If you enter two events at the same competition only your highest score will count in the Series Rankings. In the National Rankings all categories have their own ranking list so each score counts once but in multiple places. With the single Series ranking list counting for all grades it would be an unfair advantage over players entering only one event if both counted.
If points are equal at the end of the Series the player who has won the most matches over the course of the Series will finish higher. If both number of points and number of matches won are the same it will be decided by least number of matches lost.
