The draws and schedule for the up and coming Inter Counties competition is now online. There has been a great response to this competition for it’s first year with this new format, we now have 12 teams in the Open, 7 in the Over 50’s and 4 in the women’s!
Follow this link to view the full draws - http://www.uk-racketball.com/e4---inter-county-championship---8th9th-june.html It will be an event which will host the sports best players with Tim Vail, 10 times National Racketball Champion heading up the Sussex team. Mike Harris Squash57 National Champion leading out Devon and Ted Jeal National Racketball and Squash57 runner-up taking charge of Kent. The Over 50's will be an interesting competition with Racketball doubles being played for the first time in Inter-Counties. There has already been plenty of talk over what combinations will win depending on how other teams line up. Essex and Devon hold the top two spots in the seedings but with Norfolk and Buckinghamshire both set at 3/4 the 50's is set to be an open field. Four teams have so far entered the women's grade with representation coming from the countries Racketball hotspots, Essex, Devon, Surrey and Yorkshire. Essex once again look like the side to beat being led by Zoe Fennell.
